His Worship, The Mayor, Cllr. Mfananaye Mathe, of Jozini Local Municipality, who also serves as the Chairperson of the Municipal Finance Portfolio, convened the 2024/2025 Budget Workshop. During his address, Mayor Mathe emphasized the importance of respecting public finances and ensuring the delivery of services to the residents of Jozini.
The workshop, held on July 15, 2024, at Jozini Tiger Lodge, was attended by all Ward and PR councillors, Executive Directors, and unit managers of the municipality. The workshop’s content was chaired by Mr. Z. Mpontshane, PMS Manager, alongside the Risk and Compliance Manager and the entire Budget and Treasury Office team, led by CFO Mr. V. I. Gumede.
Municipal Manager, Mr. JA Mngomezulu, was also present to ensure the workshop’s objectives were achieved.
